As a Benefits Administrator, you will work as a member of the Corporate HR Benefits team to implement JBS USA’s health and welfare strategies.  We are responsible for providing benefits for 60,000 employees nationwide and their dependents.  These benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage, disability payments, and life insurance.


Support the administration of JBS’ corporate benefit plans and programs.  This may include any of the following:

  • Serve as the day to day contact and subject matter expert for over 60 different local HR teams at our production facilities
  • Implement benefit cost savings programs and communicate changes to team members
  • Perform plan enrollment audits and assess opportunities for efficiencies
  • Manage annual open enrollment for 60,000+ team members
  • Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators
  • Facilitate benefit trainings for local HR teams
  • Edit, review, and facilitate distribution of plan documentation including benefit summaries, 1095C tax forms, and legal notices
  • Assist in transition period during mergers and acquisitions
  • Prepare and deliver various reports to management
  • Accept the delegation of responsibilities from management and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of requested tasks
  • Work with a high level of interest, energy and enthusiasm
  • Communicate and work well with colleagues at all levels and be a team player
  • Develop a foundational knowledge in all aspects of health and welfare


  • 1-2 years prior experience in administration of benefits plans and programs required
  • Strong interpersonal communication, both verbal and written
  • Both the ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering collaboration and cultivating relationships, as well as the ability to work independently or with minimal direction
  • The proven ability to complete multiple tasks on time in an intense environment
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to task
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Preferred (but not required):
    • Bilingual – English and Spanish
    • Experience with SAP queries and transactions
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $45,000-$60,000; and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
