SHIPPING SUPERVISOR

 

Qualifications:

·         1-2 years of experience in Shipping 

·         Able to work most Saturdays and some Sundays (50+ hrs/week)

·         Past experience managing people 

·         Great attendance

·         Highly motivated

Hours: C Shift

Position Description:

·         Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and reports to determine production requirements and to evaluate current production estimates and outputs

·         Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions

·         Ensure products are loaded on the trailers correctly and in a timely manner

·         Demonstrate equipment operations and work and safety procedures to new employees, or assign employees to experienced workers for training

·         Observe work and ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards

·         Motivate and manage a large group of employees

·         Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary range of  $58,800 - $ 68,000
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
