Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are seeking a Northeast Regional Sales Manager to own sales of poultry product for our Northeast region. The regional sales manager is responsible for maintaining current customer relationships and developing new relationships in the Northeast region.


  • Find and develop new business in addition to further expanding business with existing accounts
  • Use of cold calling and follow ups to effectively achieve KPI goals.
  • Extensive travel in the Northeast region as well as to industry events throughout the country
  • Develop annual contract business through the RFP process including carefully reviewing volume, product specs. and coordinating with targeted processing plant
  • Involved in the overall sales effort, including assisting with daily and weekly sales needs at all 8 commercial plants
  • Customer business reviews and establishing future goals
  • Introduce new products or packaging as upgrades to commodity
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 5+ years of experience in poultry or meat sales
  • Strong understanding of the commodity meat business
  • Pre-established customer contacts in the meat and/or poultry business, preferred.
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently organize time and travel appointments to produce results
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-Motivated
  • Highly energetic
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
