TECHNICAL TRAINING MANAGER
Description
- Demonstrate ability to be agile, build relationships, influence and gain commitment of internal business partners and key stakeholders with the ability to effectively provide consultative services, guidance, drive change and produce results through others;
- Continually think of new ways to improve all things talent, including but not limited to: the employee experience, key talent management practices, career development, leadership development, continuous learning, and performance management;
- Drive reporting and measurements of the effectiveness of talent initiatives, including sharing insights with relevant stakeholders and making adjustments as necessary;
- Analyzing data, organizing and presenting results in a clear and useful way (graphs, reports, presentations, etc);
- Maintaining close working relationships with plant management personnel
- Implement learning programs using multiple forms (classroom, e-learning, employee created learning, training programs, cross-functional job shadowing, etc.) that enable our employees and team to be more effective in their roles
- Provide facilitation and training on various HR and Talent Management related initiatives, career planning discussions, survey execution and analysis
- Manage in-house developmental programs.
- Manager any needs related to salaried employees at the facility. Including but no limited to, transfers, promotions, onboarding, succession planning, disciplinary actions, career development, and training.
- Prepares and coordinate curriculum for Packing House Degree Program.
- Participates in Interview, hiring, and onboarding for management roles
- Responsible for formal check-ins with new management team members at 30, 60, 90 days alongside dept mgrs.
- Manages SDP, International Trainees, US Trainees, and Interns through completion of their programs
- Supports management team on completion performance management tools.
Required Abilities / Skills
- Have to be a good communicator (both verbal and written), negotiator and able to be train others
- Supervisor experience in food production, preferably Beef
- Must have a good sense of organization and good follow up
- Multitasking and detail oriented
- Analytical
- Proficient in MS Office Package
- Experience facilitating content
- Must be able to work additional hours/weekends as needed.
- Bilingual preferred
