Position Title: Customer Service Representative
Department: Operations
Location: Mt. Pleasant, TX
Reports to: Terminal Manager
Position Summary
The Customer Service & Operations Coordinator supports logistics and transportation functions by managing freight scheduling, customer communication, trailer utilization, and documentation. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain payroll and billing documents and submit them weekly
- Update daily check calls based on shipper requirements
- Communicate late deliveries and detention updates to corporate customer service
Freight Coordination & Scheduling
- Schedule, enter, and communicate all customer delivery appointments
- Solicit freight from assigned geographical regions and customer base
- Manage loads to ensure optimal equipment and driver utilization
- Check destinations, load capabilities, arrival times, and driver readiness
Customer & Carrier Communication
- Communicate service issues to assigned customers in designated areas
- Coordinate with customers to understand needs and with Sales to identify new opportunities
Trailer Pool Optimization
- Monitor and optimize trailer pool utilization and trailer locations
Additional Responsibilities
- Support logistics and operations teams with various tasks as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.

- Base salary range of $18.00 - $20.00
