SANITATION HOURLY

In this essential hands-on role, you'll be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment, production areas, and facilities to meet strict USDA, food safety, and company sanitation requirements. You'll use cleaning tools and chemicals, follow detailed sanitation procedures, and help maintain a safe, organized environment for all team members. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA, food safety, and company sanitation standards.
• Prepare, mix, and safely apply cleaning chemicals while following all PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation to ensure proper cleanliness and report any issues or hazards promptly.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment by removing debris, rinsing surfaces, and ensuring proper storage of tools and chemicals.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support a positive, safety-focused environment.
• Follow detailed sanitation procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and all safety, food safety, and biosecurity guidelines.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as needed to support production readiness and meet operational goals.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need

Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.

Experience: Poultry, food industry, manufacturing, or industrial sanitation experience is a plus.

Skills:

• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to comprehend instructions and apply common sense.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety, food safety, and quality standards.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in a refrigerated environment with temperatures ranging from 10°F to 40°F.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work safely with sanitation chemicals, water, and required PPE.

Base Hourly Rate: $17.71

Shift Differential: $1.00 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift

Perfect Attendance Incentive: $3.00 extra per hour for perfect attendance.
