Feed Mill Receiving Operator

Join our Feed Mill team and play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality poultry products to customers. The receiving operator is responsible for receiving and verifying raw ingredients and place into proper locations.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Unloads bulk ingredient loads and collects samples from loads for the lab.
  • Monitors ingredient inventories and communicates with feed mill elevator purchasing agent.
  • Cleans work area and maintains good housekeeping in receiving area.
  • Unloads bag ingredients from semi-trailers and stocks them in the warehouse
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Some computer skills
  • Good communication skills   
  • Comfortable with climbing high structures
  • Able to lift more than 30lbs
  • Able to work in dusty environment
  • Able to work in hot or cold temperatures
  • Able to obtain a forklift certification
