Delivery Supervisor
Description
- Oversee all operations within the Delivery Department.
- Ensure all drivers comply with DOT regulations and Pilgrim’s safety policies.
- Manage payroll for the Delivery Department.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date DOT paperwork at all times.
- Monitor driver compliance with Electronic Logging Device (ELD) system guidelines.
- Ensure department training and certifications are current in Alchemy and Sentix systems.
- Maintain all vehicles in DOT inspection-ready condition.
- Monitor diesel fuel levels and inventory at the feed mill.
- Ensure all vehicles are current with preventative maintenance (PM) schedules.
- Coordinate deliveries with contract haulers.
- Supervise the Dispatch Department to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
- Ensure the Delivery Department operates within all state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or delivery operations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance.
- Experience with ELD systems and fleet management is a plus
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
