Waste Water Technician

 

Position Summary: 

 

The individual selected for this position will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance and minor task.  Job description will include monitoring plant, mixing chemicals to keep plant running efficiently at the waste water facility. Maintain the pump station in good housekeeping order, cross –training in the Waste Water facility to help fill in for vacations and other duties may be assigned as needed by the supervisor or management team.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School Diploma desired with additional Waste Water training preferred

 

Skill Summary:

      Knowledge of minor maintenance tasks

      Able to lift 50 pounds easily.  Able to climb steps and ladders

      Must have or be able to obtain a fork lift license

      Must have Drivers License

      Able to work in hot/cold/wet environment

      Able to work well independently as well as with a team

      Must be supportive of company safety procedures/philosophy

      Must have excellent attendance, work and safety record
