Job Title: PANEL OPERATOR

General Description:

JBS Grand Island is seeking a panel operator for our ground beef department. This position consists of providing administrative and clerical support to the fabrication operations management team.

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited:

• Set up the grinders before the workday begins.
• Assist in setting up other equipment.
• Responsible for filling out the ground beef blender sheet.
• Responsible for the correct lean points.
• Responsible for proper CO2 application to all blends/acceptable temperature.
• Responsible for relaying product codes to the K-pack operator.
• Ensures that the product is mixed together correctly.
• Will perform task by monitoring the computerized panel.
• Monitors product going into accupumps sand K-PACK machine.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Strong written and communications skills
• Ability to adapt to new environments and situations
• Hours of this position vary as dictated by production, additional overtime and weekends as needed
