Mon - Fri. Weekend work required as scheduled
During Fall Season, Saturdays and/or Sundays are typically scheduled

Job Summary:
Apply company employee relations and union contract policies in all dealing with employees. Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production. Arrange to have appropriate records prepared and maintained (i.e., payroll, sanitation, chemicals, etc). Work closely with other supervisors and management to promote efficiency and teamwork in plant facility. Attend meetings as scheduled or called. Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned.

Essential Functions:
- Supervise all team members related to the department
- Evaluate and direct personnel on shift in performing operation according to sound operation principles and company policies and procedures
- Stimulate maximum safety, efficiency and productivity of workers
- Ensure proper training of team members
- Anticipate and determine causes of delays in shift operations and take appropriate actions to meet production schedule
Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Sanitation Practices
- Be able to communicate verbally and in written form in English
- Bi-lingual helpful but not required
Decision Making:
- Consult Plant Manager with all sanitation-related decisions and issues.
Communication:
- Ability to follow instructions given by supervision.
- Ability to visually inspect equipment, and processes.
- Ability to receive detailed information through oral and written communication.
- Ability to understand production schedules, safety signs, labels, and company policies/procedures.
Physical and Environmental:
- Activities such as (but not limited to) walking, lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting and turning.
- Constant movements (motions) of the wrists, elbows, hands and fingers are required.
- Ability to lift up to 0 - 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Requires standing for the entirety of the shift (minus break/rest periods).
- Subject to temps ranging from 30 degrees to 70 degrees constantly.
- Subject to noise levels higher than 85 decibels, so hearing protection is to be worn in the required areas
- Slippery floors, damp/wet environment, cold temperatures, etc.
- Exposure to chemicals.
- Exposure to food seasonings and additives is possible.
- Must follow all JBS safety policies and procedures.

EDUCATION: HS DIPLOMA/EQUIVALENT, COLLEGE EDUCATION, PREVIOUS PLANT
The Applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

- Base Salary: $60,591min-73,618mid
