IT MANAGER

Responsibilities: 

  •        Prioritize work orders and schedule technicians according to priority and necessity of orders
  •        Monitor all production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery
  •        Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment
  •        Promote and encourage safety in all aspects of maintenance
  •        Arrange for completion of required, such as payroll
  •        Attend meeting as scheduled or called
  •        Perform the following:
    • Network tape back ups
    • RS6000 back ups
    • Trolley ID Report
    • Network computer maintenance, imaging, and trouble shooting
    • Network cabling CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, Serial 232 terminations and trouble shooting
    • Phone line maintenance, installations and terminations
    • Surveillance camera installations and maintenance, trouble shooting, and surveillance tape management
    • Dot matrix, laser and thermal printer preventative maintenance and trouble shooting
  •        Support all plant network users
  •        Other duties as assigned  

 

Qualifications:

  •        Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred
  •        High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • Microsoft Office Applications Word, Excel, Access, & Power Point experience
  • OS (Operating Systems Knowledge Base) NT 4.0, 2000, XP
  • Basic or fundamental electrical / electronic knowledge 24v to 110v
  • Cabling knowledge CAT5, CAT5E, CAT6, Coax RJ 6 and 59, Serial 232, Single / Multi Mode Fiber Optics
  • Basic printer knowledge of dot matrix, laser, and thermal printers
  • Basic or fundamental networking knowledge
  • Work 40+ hours per week in all areas of the plant.
  • Be able to communicate verbally and in written form in English
  • Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in the building, mechanical and electrical trades.
  • Previous mechanical and related experience required.
  • Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Read electrical schematics
  • Have low voltage (24VDC, 110VAC) experience
  • Have PLC and VFD experience
  •        Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 
  •        As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
