MAINTENANCE PLANNER SUPERVISOR

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Develop PMs for critical equipment in the facility- train team members on how to properly conduct PM work.
  • Ensure spare parts and inventory are stocked for critical equipment 
  • Work with vendors, mechanics, and maintenance supervisors daily to ensure proper parts are ordered in a timely manner for equipment 
  • Build parts kits for team members  
  • Compare vendors for cost savings  
  • Maintain the SAP database for accurate equipment 
  • Cleaning and organizing as directed for the maintenance department
  • Ability to drive pay loader, skid loader, and yard equipment as needed or required  
  • Track and document that team members are receiving the required time in the training program.
  • Give feedback to supervisors and plant engineer if team members are not meeting requirements.
  • Provide timely assistance to tem members on progression through training.
  • Spend time in plant verifying team members’ hands-on training and comprehension.
  • Continual development of training curriculum specific to plant needs.
  • Other duties as assigned  

 

Qualifications:

  • Ability to multitask  
  • Customer service skills 
  • Mechanical troubleshooting experience  
  • Must be able to tolerate smells and extreme temperatures 
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and be self-driven 
  • Must be detail-oriented 
  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Bilingual (plus but not required) 
  • Computer skills and knowledge 
  • Ability to work with SAP Systems 
  • Mechanical knowledge 
  • Must maintain exceptional communication between the maintenance department and personnel
  • Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation 
  • As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations.
