Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager

JBS is seeking a Senior Ethics & Compliance Manager for its growing team and enhanced Ethics and Compliance Program. The Senior Manager will aid in the development, implementation and maintenance of JBS’s Ethics and Compliance Program. This role will be based at our Corporate Office in Greeley, CO.


Primary responsibilities include:


  • Assisting the Ethics and Compliance Department with implementing key components of the compliance program (e.g. processes, monitoring, training, etc.) at the direction of Ethics and Compliance Leadership.
  • Assisting Ethics and Compliance Leadership on priority compliance issues, including: risk identification, assessment, and mitigation; third-party due diligence; internal controls; testing; and compliance training.
  • Supporting Compliance Leadership, Internal Audit, HR, and Financial units in the development and implementation of metrics for measuring and tracking risk controls and mitigation.
  • Maintaining and providing training on company Code of Conduct and related risk-based policies and procedures.
  • Conducting and documenting investigations of alleged violations of laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Other duties necessary to assist in the successful design, implementation and monitoring of a best in class Ethics and Compliance Program


Candidates should have:


  • 3 to 5 years broad-based compliance experience with specific experience in implementing effective compliance programs
  • Law or other advanced degree or certification related to the compliance function, such as MBA, CPA and CFE, is a plus but not required
  • Superior organizational and detail skills
  • Experience working with Internal Audit Departments and/or data analytics
  • Team player
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency



The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:


  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $100,000 to $135,000; and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
