Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a QA Technician to work at Pilgrim’s in Guntersville, AL

 Pilgrim’s in Guntersville, AL is seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented QA Technician to work closely with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure all regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are consistently met within production areas.  

Responsibilities:

• Work directly with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure compliance with all regulatory, food safety, and customer standards. 
• Complete required departmental checks and accurately upload all information into MYQM. 
• Communicate effectively with team members across departments. 
• Read, write, and understand English to meet documentation and communication requirements. 
• Apply strong math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verification tasks. 
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. 
• Use sound reasoning and judgment to make decisions in real time. 
• Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands. 
• Perform job duties in cold or hot environments for extended periods. 
• Learn and follow HACCP System procedures; successfully pass all required HACCP examinations. 
• Lift up to 40 lbs as needed to complete job tasks.
• Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

• High School or GED Education 
• QA experience a plus
• Computer skills
• Language requirements read/write in English
• Complete QA Assessment test
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. as needed
