Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Maintenance Superintendent/Planner for Pilgrim’s in Marshville, NC. This role will manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensure equipment reliability, and lead maintenance operations. This role combines technical expertise with planning and leadership responsibilities to keep our plant running efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update equipment records in SAP, including installation, deactivation, and attributes.
- Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure equipment reliability.
- Schedule and monitor PM work orders, analyze failure trends, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with supervisors to improve maintenance strategies and plan corrective work for efficiency.
- Prepare job plans, reusable task lists, and oversee repair teams ensuring safety and quality standards.
- Lead maintenance scheduling meetings, assign tasks, and track performance metrics.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Need:
- Education – High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2+ years of experience in poultry maintenance, planning, or experience as a maintenance coordinator
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication both orally and in writing, capable of independent decision making
- Proficiency in SAP or similar CMMS, Microsoft Office, and maintenance planning tools.
- Comfortable working in wet, noisy environments
