As a Benefits Administrator, you will work as a member of the Corporate HR Benefits team to implement JBS USA’s health and welfare strategies.  We are responsible for administering benefits for 65,000 employees and their dependents nationwide. The benefits administrator assists with operation of the group benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance and flexible spending accounts).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the administration of JBS’ benefit plans and programs.  This may include any of the following:

  • Provide excellent customer service and serve as subject matter expert to over 65 different local HR teams at our production facilities
  • Assist in implementation of benefit cost savings programs and communicate changes to team members
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improving efficiencies and implementing these strategies
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
  • Manage annual open enrollment for 65,000+ team members
  • Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators
  • Facilitate onboarding for new benefit contacts in the field
  • Edit, review, and facilitate distribution of plan documentation including benefit summaries, 1095C tax forms, and legal notices
  • Assist in transition period during mergers and acquisitions
  • Audit the accuracy of enrollments and payroll including inbound and outbound files to vendors
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3 to 5 years of employee benefits experience
  • Strong interpersonal communication, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Both the ability to work as an integral part of a team, fostering collaboration and cultivating relationships, as well as the ability to work independently or with minimal direction
  • The proven ability to complete multiple tasks on time in a fast pace and demanding environment
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail and commitment to tasks
  • Preferred (but not required):
    • Experience with SAP queries and transactions

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $65,000- $80,000; and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
