Supply Chain Leader - Wild Fork Foods



RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain metrics and analyze supply chain data to assess performance and implement improvements.
  • Maintain inventory by reconciling order discrepancies and also ensuring synchronization between Wild Fork Foods and 3PL for inventory and cycle count execution.
  • Assist in creating the company’s supply chain strategy by interfacing regularly with product management, production operations as well as carriers and customers to discuss and improve our logistics processes.
  • Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues to ensure facility is meeting a minimum of 98% on time delivery.
  • Evaluate and report on KPI’s to ensure cost is being managed efficiently.
  • Monitor Logistics processes and procedures to make sure they run smoothly.
  • Maintain supply chain inventory and records as well as ensuring dry inventory availability.
  • Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
  • Resolve issues that may arise with our transportation carrier or communicate issues to our transportation carrier that may occur at the facility that may delay loading and/or on time delivery.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth such as supporting inventory availability with Quality Department.
  • Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
  • Coordinate the transportation planning of customer replenishment orders in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible while meeting all customer service expectations.
  • Act as a liaison between transportation, customer, sales, and operations teams.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:                       

  • Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field.
  • Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
  • Working experience of relevant software (SAP, Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and follow through skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Creative problem solving
  • A strategic and analytical mind
  • General understanding of US geography
  • Ability to multi task
  • Compassionate to customer needs
  • Can thrive in a team oriented environment
  • Degree in Supply Chain Management preferred but not required
