Supply Chain Leader - Wild Fork Foods
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain metrics and analyze supply chain data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Maintain inventory by reconciling order discrepancies and also ensuring synchronization between Wild Fork Foods and 3PL for inventory and cycle count execution.
- Assist in creating the company’s supply chain strategy by interfacing regularly with product management, production operations as well as carriers and customers to discuss and improve our logistics processes.
- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues to ensure facility is meeting a minimum of 98% on time delivery.
- Evaluate and report on KPI’s to ensure cost is being managed efficiently.
- Monitor Logistics processes and procedures to make sure they run smoothly.
- Maintain supply chain inventory and records as well as ensuring dry inventory availability.
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes.
- Resolve issues that may arise with our transportation carrier or communicate issues to our transportation carrier that may occur at the facility that may delay loading and/or on time delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to create coordinated plans for business growth such as supporting inventory availability with Quality Department.
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
- Coordinate the transportation planning of customer replenishment orders in the most cost effective and efficient manner possible while meeting all customer service expectations.
- Act as a liaison between transportation, customer, sales, and operations teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field.
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Working experience of relevant software (SAP, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational, project management, and follow through skills
- Attention to detail
- Creative problem solving
- A strategic and analytical mind
- General understanding of US geography
- Ability to multi task
- Compassionate to customer needs
- Can thrive in a team oriented environment
- Degree in Supply Chain Management preferred but not required
- Non - remote position
