JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Position Title: Accountant

Department:Finance

Location: Greeley, CO

Reports to: Controller

 

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Month-end ledger closing process
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Data accumulation/analysis of balance sheet and P/L accounts
  • Daily, weekly and monthly account analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Assist with budget to actual variance analysis
  • Additional duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various levels of management
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong Excel skills is a must
  • Experience with SAP, TMW, TMT systems is a plus
  • Must be a perfectionist by nature, with no tolerance for financial sloppiness
  • Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done, especially when important deadlines cause greater than normal departmental pressure

 

Education: BS in Accounting or Finance a plus

 

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;

  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $45,000- $58,000 and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
