Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist
 
 
Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist for one of our national account supply chain teams to join us here at JBS! This person will assist with customer orders and inventory management and work cross functionally with sales, transportation and production teams to execute daily supply needs.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Daily analysis and management of customer’s order/inventory systems
  • Place inbound POs in customer’s legacy systems
  • Manage store orders and fulfillment
  • Inventory tracking and management of shortages and overages to the customer DC’s
  • Forecasting using data across several platforms
  • Develop excel tools to support replenishment and forecasting
  • Develop and execute plans for excess inventory, days of supply, and store service levels
  • Liaison with customer and JBS case ready operations
  • Logistics and warehouse coordination to ensure product is received for daily store deliveries
  • Product life cycle management of new and discontinued products
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Qualifications:  
  • 2 years in the retail space, store management or operations, preferred
  • 2 years experience in forecasting, seasonal/market analysis, preferred
  • Strong excel and analytical skills
  • Strong organization and multitasking skills
  • Is a self starter, ambitious and eager to learn
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, comfortable with email communication
  • Ability to work occasional off hours.
