Supply Chain Manager
General Summary: We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager for or leather warehouse facility in Hickory, NC that will oversee the Warehouse Administration team, create forecasting reports, collaborate with our foreign controller/accounting teams in Brazil on reporting and controls within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the warehouse administration team and guide them in their daily functions
- Collaborate with Brazil accounting/finance and controller teams on forecasting, data analysis and operational costs.
- Control and report all expenses that occur within the warehouse operations.
- Create and control the maintenance plan for the warehouse.
- Be responsive to changes in procurement, adjust daily reporting accordingly
- Ensure team members are kept up to date on policy’s and procedures within the warehouse
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in supply chain, warehouse management and/or inventory controls required
- Experience in Microsoft Excel required
- Experience in SAP required
- Experience in warehouse ERP or inventory tracking preferred
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and pivot when emergent needs arise
- Strong communication skills-verbal and written
- Aptitude for data, reporting
- Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
