We are seeking candidates for a campus recruiting role based at our Corporate Office in Greeley. This role is positioned to attract the very best talent internally and from colleges across the United States and ensure a smooth candidate experience, onboarding, and transition to a Talent Development Manager on the team.

The JBS Talent Development team is primarily responsible for three critical nationwide talent programs and this role would be instrumental in the selection for these programs:

  • Management Trainee Program – 12-month program targeting college graduates
  • Supervisor Development Program – 6-month program targeting high potential current employees
  • Internship Program – 10-week summer program, targeting college students


  • Recruit highly qualified candidates for Management Trainee Program, Supervisor Development, and Internship program
  • Ensure a smooth recruiting experience for candidates applying to any of the above Talent Development Programs
  • Manage and implement improvements to recruiting processes and candidate selection process company-wide
  • Establish and maintain relationships with college campuses through on campus visits, career fair attendance, coordination of executive involvement
  • Become an expert in candidate selection as it relates to fit for company culture and long-term retention
  • Assist Talent Development Managers in the program management for the Summer Internship Program company-wide
  • Contribute to the execution of program components such as onboarding and orientation
  • Execution of intern review process and interview/selection process for those interns to be considered for future hire into trainee or direct hire roles
  • Regular travel to campuses, plant operations facilities, and events 


  • Previous experience in a manufacturing facility preferred, JBS/Pilgrim's experience strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Agriculture or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
  • Previous experience in HR, recruiting or management role preferred
  • Strong organizational, follow up, negotiation, interview and decision making skills required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and handle high work volume
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee related information
  • Proficient with MS Office suite
  • Ability to travel as needed for recruitment, particularly in the Spring and Fall, approximately 10-12 weeks per year

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $55,000- $65,000; and
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
