We are seeking candidates for a Division Head of Sales and Customer Service based in Cincinnati, OH for our Empire Packing Company.

This role will be responsible for sales and customer service within Empire's case-ready production facilities and Ledbetter branded retail products. Empire is comprised of five processing facilities located in Cincinnati, OH, Denver, CO, Mason, OH, Memphis, TN and Olympia, WA.


  • Relentless pursuit of company mission, essential customer partnership and positive financial returns
  • Provide customer leadership and consultant services relating to product offerings
    • Ensure customer objectives/concerns are handled professionally and needs are fully met
    • Promote the integration of processes between customer and company
    • Serve as a key consultant to executive leadership on quality specifications and cost modeling of customer products to ensure customer satisfaction and market success
  • Conduct regular reviews of sales, production and quality activities and implement corrective actions or offer suggestions as needed
  • Ensure team members conduct sales activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Oversee implementation of pricing, packaging and promotions programs, including:
    • Ongoing program integrity
    • Achievement of target yields 
    • Maintain inventory and customer fill rates 
    • Ensure pricing integrity
  • Protect and grow the Company's positive professional reputation 
  • Responsibility for financial accountability, P&L and effective division policies including:
    • Review financial and operating statements, examine and assess profitability and identify potential problem areas
    • Oversee and approve budgets, drive performance to operating goals, review/control expenses, and maximization profit
    • Development and implementation of internal controls to preserve Company assets
  • Ensure technology functions are efficient and provide useful, pertinent information to personnel and management
  • Lead major activities and projects


  • 10+ years sales and account management experience, preferably with perishable commodity or CPG products (case ready product knowledge is highly desired)
  • Must have managed or participated in P&L responsibilities, experience in the $650 - $850M range strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively internally and externally with all levels within the organization
  • Holistic knowledge of product sales and the retail model from supplier to consumer, including an understanding the implications of process change to customer and company financials
  • Experience formulating and implementing strategic plans, policies, goals, and objectives to increase company market share, growth and profitability
  • Success leading a team in a growth-oriented environment
  • Prior experience successfully supporting retailer market share expansion in existing market or to capture separate/new market share
  • Ability to manage customer objectives
  • Proven successful customer relationship management
  • Willingness to travel (approximately 50-70%)
