Ground Beef Inventory Specialist (A‑Shift)
Summary The Ground Beef Inventory Specialist manages inventory age, scanning, loading/unloading, and high‑volume inbound/outbound trailer movement for the Ground Beef department. This role ensures accurate counts and proper rotation.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory age and rotation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Scan all inbound/outbound materials to maintain accurate digital inventory records.
- Oversee loading and unloading of ground beef products and trailers.
- Handle weekly inbound volume.
- Coordinate daily outbound movement of trailers due to limited combo storage space.
- Maintain real‑time inventory counts and reconcile with production supervisors.
- Verify lot tracking, labels, and material usage.
- Complete batch input and finalize Frozen/FTB reports.
- Communicate discrepancies during shift handoff.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong computer skills; proficient in Excel, Word, and inventory systems.
- Ability to work independently under time‑sensitive conditions.
- Strong communication skills.
- Flexible schedule; overtime as needed.
