Job Title:  Feed Mill Technician
Department/Location of Position: Hedrick Iowa
JBS Live Pork Centralia is looking for a full time Feed Mill Production Technician. 

This position is responsible for manufacturing and shipping of animal feed.
Responsibilities include: 
·        Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e. grinders, batching scales, mixers, feed cleaners, pellet mills, coolers. Samples and receives ingredients by truck and monitors ingredients inventory levels.
·        Manufacture feeds to ensure that they meet specifications and food safety requirements.
·        Schedule production based on priorities and customer demands.
·        Keep accurate, legible records.
·        Perform housekeeping tasks, maintain a clean workplace.
Requirements: 
·        Must be able to read/comprehend English and authorized to work in the U.S.
·        Good math skills.
·        Good mechanical aptitude.
·        Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
·        Ability to lift 50 lbs.
·        Computer knowledge.
 
Preferred: 
  • Prior experience in feed milling or industrial manufacturing work.
  • Ideal candidates should have above average skills in teamwork, decision making, taking responsibility, and integrity
