Lead Warehouse Attendant

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Lead Warehouse Attendant to join the team at our JBS Warehouse in North Charleston, SC!

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Warehouse production and staff to ensure meeting packing schedule and standards. 
• Ability to move products through the warehouse with Loader, Bobcat, Forklift, Yard Shuttle Truck.  
• General warehouse and equipment maintenance 
• Handle and complete receiving, shipping, and inventory paperwork. 
• Must be able to lift 50 – 80 lbs. 
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: 

• High School Diploma/ GED 
• Strong working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Word, Excel) 
• Self-Starter- Ability to work with little supervision 
• Attention to detail 
• Strong Work Ethic 
• Customer Service Oriented 
• Willing to get Forklift and Loader certified 
• Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
• Base salary range of $16.47-$20.59/hr

The posted salary range represents the Company’s good faith estimate of the compensation that the Company reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, qualifications, tenure, internal equity, market data, and may vary accordingly.
