Laundry Technician
Pay Rate: $23.60/hr.
*A RESUME IS REQUIRED TO BE CONSIDERED
HOURS OF WORK: Monday-Saturday; Sundays as needed. Hours of work may vary.
· 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
· 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
· 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Wash and dry designated laundry for assigned shift.
· Hang laundry bags on appropriate hooks.
· Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned.
· Work as needed in the storeroom as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required
· Self-starter
· Good attendance record
· No previous experience necessary
· Ability to follow instructions
· Organized and self-motivated
· Ability to work productively under minimal supervision
· Physically able to perform repetitious motions with hands and arms
· Physically able to “lift heavy bags (500 to 600 bags per shift)”
· Ability to work in both a fast pace and slow-paced environment.
· Ability to read, write and comprehend the English Language
