Description: Grading Cooler Production Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the overall operations of Coolers
- Create a motivated team with hourly and management employees
- Directly responsible for the Employees in Coolers
- Ensure the productivity and safety of the employees
- Ensure the safety of the product leaving the department
- Actively take part in ensuring the accurate grading of carcasses and measuring the shrink percentages
- Maintain a healthy relationship and communication with USDA and Management
- Maintain accurate data, reports and information pertaining to Coolers department
- Make critical decisions based on the data collected
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree in related field
- Past experience in supervising employees in a meat production/manufacturing setting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a cold environment
- Ability to work 50+ hours a week including Saturdays as needed.
- Computer skills
- Bi-lingual preferred but not mandatory
