Each day, temperature screens are performed for each employee and visitor before entering the facility. Face coverings are available to all team members and enhanced cleaning and sanitation is regularly performed.

3rd Shift

6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Sunday through Thursday

Start Rate: $17.01/hour

  • Upon being notified of an incoming barge, check the docking area to insure everything is in order to receive the barge.
  • Inspect the cables for wear and replace any that appear substandard.
  • Check with the feed mixer and make sure the proper silos are set up.
  • Pull the barge close to the docking area and secure using cables
  • Hook up the snatch blocks.
  • Open the doors on the barge by jacking the doors and setting lids.
  • Position the clam bucket assembly so that it will begin picking up corn.
  • Begin sending the corn to the feed mill.
  • Remove the remaining corn manually.
  • Clean out the barge and surrounding area.
  • Clean any spills along the bucket, auger, and conveyor system.
  • Remove the clam bucket assembly from the barge.
  • Remove the snatch blocks.
  • Release lids and close the doors. Make sure they are secured.
  • Release the cables holding the barge to our dock.
  • Receive and deliver all paper work concerning barge arrival/departure.           
  • Give all paperwork to the Accounting Clerk.
  • Perform preventative maintenance work
  • Assist the Clean-Up/Sanitation Person with keeping the grounds clean.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Person in collecting samples.
  • Assist in dispensing ingredients, drugs, and perform other duties while the docking area is vacant.

Must meet the following physical requirements with or without accommodations:

 

Repetitive motion includes back, shoulder, arm, wrist, hand, and finger movement.  Employee must be able to lift 100 lbs. from floor level to full extension of the arm and forearm above the head 30 times in a three hour period.  Must be able to walk distances exceeding 100 feet one way 30 times in a three hour period, and covering an area that exceeds 5 acres.  Must be able to ascend and descend a 30 tread staircase 30 times in a three hour period.  Must be able to work in confined or restricted work areas 3 hours in duration.  Must be able to work in wet to arid working conditions with temperature ranges 0 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit for a ten hour period of time.  Must be able to work at heights exceeding 200 feet with little or no confinement.
