Purpose: |
The Truck Shop Mechanic is responsible for properly maintaining the condition of our trucks and keeping them in operation. |
Responsibilities: |

Basic Qualifications: | *Must have own tools *Class “A” CDL required or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire *Good mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities *High school diploma or GED preferred |
Preferred Qualifications: | Prefer a minimum of 1 to 2 years diesel mechanic experience

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
| The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member will be exposed to both an office environment and the production environment of wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the truck shop is usually loud. Applicant must also be able to do the following: • Standing 90% of the time and Sitting is 10% • Workable use of both hands and able to grasp. • Good eye sight (with or without corrective lens). • Able to perform repetitive task. • Able to walk, stand, reach, bend, climb, push, pull, and stoup. • Able to lift up to 70 lbs. in weight. |
