JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Forklift Operator
Department: Production
Location: Greeley, CO Value Added Plant
JBS is seeking an hourly Production Team Member! Position starts at $23.00 per hour with the ability to go up to $25.00/hour plus $0.10/hour Shift Differential.

- Understand and promote safety standards for each machine
- Perform pre-start analysis and maintain daily activity log
- Strictly follow and promote the companies First In First Out practices
- Responsible for accuracy of inventory and order fill rates
- Organization of box cooler, freezer, and shipping dock
- Responsible for total quality of product shipped out including but not limited to leaker control, box integrity, pallet integrity, trailer configuration, trailer temperature, etc.
- Identify machine malfunction and notify management
- Understand and maintain product flow and procedures
- Communicate with leads and supervision
- Ability to meet line speed pace
- Understand Food Safety, GMP, SSOP requirements
- Maintain package integrity
- Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production
- Completing receiving documentation (temp checking)
- Other duties assigned
- Authorized to work in the US
- 18 years of age or more
- Ability to work fulltime M-F; Weekends and overtime as needed
- Read/write in English
- Requires ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
- Requires ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- Requires ability to work in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to conduct repetitive motion
The work environment may include cold and/or hot temperatures. It may also require the use of sharp tools such as knives.
