Job Title: Harvest Floor Supervisor
Location:  Omaha
Reporting To: Harvest Floor General Foreman

Essential Job Functions:

• Monitor slaughter area by evaluating product and administering corrective procedures
• Maintain acceptable yield levels on all products on all carcasses
• Perform daily safety walks correcting any non-compliance issues and audits product and employee safety throughout shift
• Ensure all safety regulations, food safety policies and collective bargaining agreement are understood and enforced, working closely with Quality Assurance
• Record employee daily attendance and verify time cards to ensure correct pay for hours worked
• Rectify attendance issues by coordinating personnel to fill vacant or absent positions and follow any disciplinary procedures with hourly employees
• Attend supervisor meetings each morning

• Contribute to the ongoing development of JBS Omaha’s policy and procedures
• All other duties as assigned by General Foreman or Superintendent
• Demonstrate the use of JBS Values

Experience Required:

• Minimum 1-2 years’ production experience
• Past leadership experience preferred but not required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred but not required

Skills/Abilities Required:

• Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship and work collaboratively
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, and leadership qualities
• Must be able to work in conditions of extreme heat
• Must be able to work flexible hours and some Saturday work
• General computer skills
• Knowledge of meat processing and subsequent job specifications
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time
