A Payroll Specialist is needed in the HR team on a full-time basis for 40 hours per week located in Miami, FL. Hours are flexible between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in processing payroll runs bi-weekly
  • Answer questions from employees and supervisors regarding payroll matters
  • Enter records on vacation, sick leave, etc.
  • Coordinate and process any Off Cycle payments
  • Enter correcting items from error report from Pay Card and Bank Returns
  • payroll task as assign by supervisor/manager
  • Assist with governmental/compliance reporting

 

Detailed Responsibilities:

Kronos:

  • Monday payroll send from Kronos to SAP for all locations and balancing
  • Reviewing timecards in Kronos for missed punches/time and working with the managers
  • Assisting managers with time off request entry in Kronos (Vacation, Sick)
  • Maintain People editor in Kronos
  • Maintain/review schedules in Kronos
  • Training new managers on Kronos
  • Reporting of totals hours for employees before payroll is sent to HR Regional Managers
  • Reporting of vacation balances to HR HQ and HR Regional Managers

SAP:

  • Cost center overrides in SAP for employees who worked at a different store
  • Investigating employee pay issues
  • Keying the pay corrections and requesting off cycles
  • Entering the monthly incentive pay in SAP for all locations
  • Entering employee deductions (if any)

Employee Resources Management System (ERM):

  • ERM Request for new supervisors to have Kronos access
  • Assisting employees with ePayroll
  • Assisting with rollout of new stores/locations and testing any system changes

 

Qualifications:

  • Strong 10-Key data entry skills required
  • SAP and Kronos knowledge preferred
  • 2 years of experience in similar role
  • California labor regulations knowledge is preferred
  • Knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Windows applications
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy 
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Highly organized and dependable
  • Self-starter and proactive
  • High School diploma or GED required
