We are building our team and looking for an experienced Warehouse Shipping & Logistics Manager for our first manufacturing plant in Denver, CO (Commerce City area) who will help us create the best plant-based protein company in the world.

The Manager reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for directing all warehouse activities for our new manufacturing facility. The Manager will recruit, train and supervise the maintenance team as they ensure employee safety, product safety and quality and compliance to production schedules. Responsibilities:

  • Overall owner of initial plant setup for the Warehouse including SOPs, rack organization and hiring
  • Overall owner of warehouse key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Oversee team budget
  • Ensure team member safety through training
  • Ensure food safety and quality as it relates to warehouse activities and programs
  • Responsible for schedule attainment as it relates to warehouse activities and programs
  • Establish and continue positive culture with the team
  • Work closely with the plant manager and other members of the leadership team
  • Monitor and analyze team performance to improve efficiency
  • Create and maintain programs for hiring, training & developing the warehouse team of 3-5 people
  • Make recommendations to the leadership team to improve the warehouse function

Work environment:

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle/feel items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and talk or hear
  • Manufacturing setting: the plant environment will include wet or humid conditions (non-weather related), extreme cold (non-weather related), and working near moving mechanical parts
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud when in the production area


  • GED, 5+ years of warehouse experience, at least 3 years as a supervisor/manager leading a team
  • Freezer warehouse experience preferred
  • Forklift experience required
  • Intermediate or better PC / software skills including Microsoft office
  • This role will primarily work Monday-Friday, but candidates must have the ability to work nights and weekends as needed
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary range of $60,000 – 75,000
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
