Pilgrim's is seeking a Corporate Accounting / Financial Reporting Manager. This role will be based at our Corporate Headquarters in Greeley, CO. Candidates in other geographic areas must be willing to relocate to Northern Colorado - relocation funds/assistance may be available based on candidate qualifications!


  • Directly manage two Corporate Staff Accountants
  • Month-end ledger closing process
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Review of monthly/quarterly account reconciliations
  • Data accumulation/analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Daily, weekly and monthly account analysis to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Monitoring of the accuracy and timeliness of preparation of bank account/cash reconciliations
  • Review foreign entities’ trial balances and consolidate with parent
  • Preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial statements and disclosure requirements
  • Preparation and filing of applicable investor relations related documentation
  • Assist with quarterly/annual reviews and audits and preparing applicable audit schedules and support
  • Assist with preparation of IFRS financial statements
  • Assist with ERP and financial reporting system data maintenance and inputs
  • Assist with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance and controls
  • Assist with quarterly, annual and ad hoc external reporting, including government filings
  • Other duties as assigned


  • BS in Accounting
  • CPA a plus
  • Public accounting and industry experience preferred, 4-7 years combined experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with various levels of management (plant personnel, corporate, executive management, investment banking community, brokers, treasury, etc.)
  • General ledger knowledge in consolidation accounting including eliminations and foreign currency translation – SAP experience a plus
  • Strong technical US GAAP reporting knowledge, including experience with complex accounting topics and financial statement preparation and review
  • IFRS reporting knowledge a plus
  • Excellent strong personnel management skills
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to learn quickly, work in team environment and complete responsibilities independently with proper training
