Global Procurement Supply Chain Analyst

 

Purpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Global Procurement Supply Chain Analyst for JBS Global Procurement that reports onsite to the corporate office in Greeley, Colorado.

 

Reporting to the Global Procurement Category Manager of Supply Chain, the Procurement Analyst role is responsible for supporting the sourcing and management of Global Logistics, including US Supply Chain, warehouse contracts, inbound and outbound logistics processes, and inventory for imported items across all Business Units. This includes strategic alignment between global categories and all JBS Business units and platforms (US, Canada, Brazil, Europe, Mexico, China, Australia, etc.).

 

The Procurement Supply Chain Analyst role is critical in supporting the sourcing process for all categories, participating in strategy creation, supplier identification, and international and national logistics. The Procurement Supply Chain Analyst will identify and build strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders, including AMAZON, FEDEX, UPS, and Ocean Freight.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to various Business Units and global procurement teams throughout the sourcing process, ensuring that category strategies and supplier selection meet business requirements.
  • Develop supply partnerships—including warehouses, freight forwarders, LTL (less than truckload) and FTL (full-truckload) carriers, and brokers—to facilitate import clearance processes.
  • Manage accounts with UPS and FedEx for parcel, LTL, and FTL shipments; ensure invoice accuracy; maintain account management for JBS logistics partners (e.g., FedEx, UPS, CHR); and conduct bi-weekly meetings with logistics providers.
  • Support all Business Units in creating, updating, deactivating, and managing accounts with all parties involved in the logistics process.
  • Assist with internal and external market research analyses to optimize sourcing decisions and keep stakeholders informed about key market drivers.
  • Conduct spend analytics to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, technical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Update information in SAP systems.
  • Manage information and prepare presentations for senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to optimize the total cost of ownership (TCO) for imported goods.
  • Participate in multi-collaborative projects with teams, platforms, and suppliers.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of international logistics is a plus.
  • Advanced proficiency in SAP/S4 and Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule;
  • Base salary range of $55,000-$70,000;
  • Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
