ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities: 

• Overseeing daily accounting functions (i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Account Reconciliations)
• Assist in the monthly and quarterly close process
• Manage the daily close out of all hogs received by the plant
• Process daily invoices of hog related expenses for payment
• Set-up and track Capital Projects
• Prepare and oversee daily reconciliations of MRO inventories
• Report weekly inventory reconciliation for all plant products
• Organize financial data into useable information for management (i.e. monthly reporting)
• Maintain and report various Union deductions monthly

•        Other duties as assigned  

Qualifications:  

•        Ability to communicate fluently in English (both written and verbally)
•        Excellent computer skills required, including Excel
•        Excellent analytical skills to manage large amounts of data
•        Attention to detail and accuracy
•        Team management skills
•        Ability to prioritize work
•        3-5 years of Accounting experience
•        Bachelor’s Degree in applicable field preferred
