Human Resources Coordinator

The HR Coordinator supports plant operations by assisting with a variety of day-to-day human resources activities. This position helps coordinate onboarding, employee records, benefits administration, training, and other HR processes. Working closely with plant leadership, team members, and corporate HR partners, the HR Coordinator helps ensure HR programs and policies are carried out effectively and provides support to employees and managers as needed. This role serves as a key resource for administrative HR support while helping foster a positive team member experience and supporting the overall goals of the business.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Maintains employee records and personnel files, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.  
  • Assists with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and new hire orientation activities.  
  • Processes employee status changes, including transfers, pay changes, and terminations.  
  • Supports payroll, attendance, leave administration, and benefits-related processes.  
  • Prepares HR reports, tracks workforce data, and maintains required documentation.  
  • Serves as a resource for employees by responding to questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.  
  • Provides administrative support for HR initiatives, compliance activities, employee relations matters, and training programs.  
  • Other duties as assigned.  

    

What You’ll Need:  

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required;  
  • Experience: Associates Degree preferred;  
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Working knowledge of HR processes, payroll, benefits administration, and employee recordkeeping. Ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain confidentiality, and ensure accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with employees, provide administrative support, and effectively coordinate HR programs and activities;
