Position Overview
The HR Coordinator supports daily human resources operations, ensuring accurate employee records, customer service and consistent communication. This role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up personnel files for new hires, including badge photos and employee numbers.
- Process applications, employment forms, enrollment documents, pay change requests, and other confidential HR records.
- Enroll new employees in company programs and explain available benefits.
- Maintain and distribute employee information, policy manuals, and HR communications.
- Compile personnel data and prepare reports as needed.
- Verify payroll entries and report discrepancies.
- Track employee data including compensation, benefits, tax information, attendance, performance reviews, and terminations.
- Update employee files to document personnel actions and support payroll and HR processes.
- Assist with internal and external surveys for policy development and planning.
- Compute wages and record data for payroll processing; may enter data into SAP.
- Conduct pre‑employment screenings and respond to routine HR policy questions.
- Assist with administering and scoring aptitude, personality, and interest assessments.
- Order office supplies and support HR operations and special events.
- May conduct new hire orientation sessions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
