Pretreatment Supervisor

Overview: Responsible for supervising daily industrial pretreatment operations, including sampling, testing, equipment maintenance, and staff oversight. Ensures compliance with all regulatory discharge requirements and maintains strong communication with the wastewater department.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of pretreatment operators/mechanics
• Oversee daily pre-treatment sampling, testing, and documentation
• Maintain compliance with pretreatment discharge limits
• Coordinate with wastewater supervisors
• Order chemicals, supplies, and parts
• Support operations across all shifts; weekends as needed
• Work in hot/cold environments; heavy lifting required

Qualifications:

• Pretreatment or wastewater experience; strong analytical skills
• Ability to obtain wastewater/pretreatment license within one year
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Basic computer proficiency
• High sense of urgency; able to perform under stress
• Flexible schedule

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
