Cage Repair team member-Live Side
Description
- Remove old or damaged cage doors and install new replacements
- Inspect cages regularly to identify and report damage or wear
- Operate (or train to operate) motorized forklifts for material handling
- Utilize general hand tools for repairs and maintenance tasks
- Perform welding work to reinforce or repair cage structures
- Adapt to varying work environments, including indoor and outdoor conditions
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and mechanical repair
- Welding experience (MIG/TIG or stick welding preferred)
- Ability to learn forklift operation (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail during inspections and repairs
- Physical ability to lift, move, and install cage doors and materials
- Flexibility to work in different environments and conditions
