We are building our team and are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager based at our Corporate Office in Lafayette, Colorado. Reporting to the Head of Accounting & Finance, this multi-disciplinary finance role provides analysis of plans and results, contributes to annual and monthly forecasting processes, models business outcomes, and provides business decision support, as well as other tasks critical to serving as a valued business partner to other departments. 


  • Forecasting
  • Month-end Reporting and Analysis: Develop and maintain a rolling forecast that is updated and presented to senior leaders on a weekly/monthly basis.  As the owner of the forecasting process, conduct variance analysis to show how the budget and/or rolling forecast compares to actual performance.
  • Annual Budgeting  & Strategic Planning Cycle:  This role will function as the owner of the annual budget process, preparing and distributing templates, collaborating with functional business areas to gather data, consolidating and presenting detailed budgets. The Manager will also develop, prepare and refresh long-term plans (i.e. 3-5 year plan).
  • Build and maintain Financial Planning and Analysis database and reports: Build databases and reports to inform key decision makers and managers on business and market dynamics. Reports will include analysis of cost, sales channel, margin drivers, sales mix, marketing spend, scenario planning etc.
  • Decision Support | Ad-hoc Analysis: The FP&A Manager will use data to guide leaders in decision-making; such as how to improve performance, minimize risk or capture new opportunities. The FP&A Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining various analysis such as: Analysis of historical financials, creating, updating, and maintaining financial models, variance explanations, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

  • Bachelors degree in related field required, MBA preferred
  • 5-7 years of financial experience, with a background across various areas of finance (FP&A, Controllership etc)
  • CPA or other finance accreditation preferred
  • Previous team leadership experience
  • Proven understanding financial statements and metrics with the ability to translate them into operational goals
  • Ability to build detailed financial models in Excel
  • Ability to analyze, prioritize, and synthesize all types of information to allow timely and effective business decisions on a consistent basis
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to propose positive solutions to business problems
  • Significant experience with financial planning / management reporting system (BPC, Hyperion, etc)
  • SAP experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent planning, organization, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience managing business-wide processes and meeting deadlines
  • High intellectual curiosity and strategic mindset
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral), ability to present to Senior Leadership
  • Ability to work with people in all levels of the organization
  • Forward-thinking in implementing tools and techniques to improve analytics, driving better business decisions
  • Strong influencing and problem- solving skills
  • Attention to detail

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

  • Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment
  • Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and holidays
  • 401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
  • Base salary range of $85,000 - 100,000
  • This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program
