Responsibilities:
  • Perform skilled facility maintenance activities including construction, welding, plumbing, basic electrical and hydraulics.
  • Monitor all facilities and production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery.
  • Adhere to Safety Procedures including, but not limited to Lock Out Tag Out, Power Industrial Truck, Scissor Lift, Harness/Fall Protection, etc.
  • Adjust, repair and replace electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Complete required paperwork both written and electronically as must at minimum have basic computer skills but preferably ability to navigate Microsoft Office with some experience with a CMMS.
  • Ability to communicate verbally and written in English.
  • Goal oriented and possess root cause analysis skills.
  • Complete assigned responsibilities and work orders while overseeing  the mechanical work of equipment.
  • Responsible for correcting or facilitating correctible measures when downtime results from mechanical or technical defects.
  • Conducts preoperational inspection and handles maintenance concerns of Production and QA to make sure operation begins as scheduled.
  • Ability to perform general mathematical calculations.
  • Mechanical inclination and knowledge of job specifications.
  • Industrial construction experience is beneficial.
  • Previous hourly maintenance experience preferred.
  • Work 40 hours per week in all areas of the plant with possible overtime requirements that could be on off shifts or holidays depending on the workload
  • Considerable knowledge of the methods, materials, tools and practices used in the building, mechanical and electrical trades.
  • Previous mechanical and related experience required.
  • Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Tends to other duties as needed as ambitious with having self-direction while being a full team player required

  • Technical schooling with mechanical or electrical emphasis helpful.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Having worked within a trade or as an Industrial Maintenance Technician preferred.
