Litigation Assistant - Discovery

Job Title: Litigation Assistant - Discovery

Type of Position: Full Time

Location: Fully Remote

Pay:  $21/hr- $32/hr

**Must be eligible to work in the U.S. **

Job Description:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

●        Work directly with clients to obtain information/prepare discovery responses

●        Prepare and send out supplemental discovery responses as needed

●        Manage incoming emails, regular mail, and faxes

●        Maintain and update file management software

●        Provide clients with regular status updates during litigation

●        Follow up with clients regarding settlement release(s)

●        Draft various legal documents and judicial forms as requested from handling attorney

●        Generate weekly/monthly reports for team meetings

●        Prepare discovery binders for senior trial attorneys

●        Other duties as requested by lead trial attorneys

Requirements:

●        Bilingual English/Spanish

●        Experience with depositions, templates, motions on Plaintiff side

●        At least 2-5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience

●        Bachelor's Degree

●        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

●        Ability to handle large volume of cases and multiple cases at a time

●        Ability to work well independently and in a team setting

●        Paralegal Certification is a plus

●        Knowledge of internet software, spreadsheet software, and word processing software

●        Prior experience with Google Suite is a plus
