Job Title: Case Manager Assistant
Type of Position: Full Time
Location: Remote, U.S.
Pay:  $20.00/hour - $26.00/hour

Job Description:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 File Opening
o Open claims, send letters of representation
o Send correspondence to clients, insurance, and defendants
o Request and review investigative reports, such as police reports and incident logs
o Learn to effectively use ACT case management system for task and time management
o Assist Case Manager on day-to-day tasks
 Initial Investigation
o Confirm policy coverages and information
o Prepare written DMV and adjuster correspondence for Case Manager’s review
o Perform asset, DMV, and policy limit searches
 Client Communication & Property Damage
o Assist client’s with scheduling vehicle inspection, repair, & rentals
o Know and confidently discuss the handling of property damage to clients
 Adjuster Communication & Advanced Investigation
o Identify all claimants and defendants in all scenarios
o Obtain recorded statements, schedule investigator visits, and expert inspections
o Communicate with adjuster regarding liability with confidence

 

Requirements:
 Very well organized
 Good follow-up and follow through
 Strong communication skills Knowledge of Internet software, spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
