We are seeking a motivated and high-achieving Associate Brand Manager candidate to join the dynamic Marketing team at Jackson Family Wines.  The ABM position is an important leadership role that partners with the Brand manager to develop and execute the business and marketing strategies for a collection of wineries.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Support Brand Manager on developing long-term and annual marketing plans
  • Maintain and reconcile brand budgets
  • Support Brand Manager in developing creative campaigns and capturing brand assets
  • Synthesize sales data trends and develop business recommendations
  • Identify insights from consumer and market research
  • Provide oversight and program management for procurement/packaging initiatives
  • Maintain asset repository and ensure consistency across all communication channels
  • Partner with sales team on account requests and pitch support
  • Lead and execute initiatives including event marketing, trade/media/consumer tastings, and direct-to-consumer marketing
  • Project and Process Management: as determined by brand plans, partner with brand leadership to develop project timelines and traffic execution, coordinated with relevant departments, agencies and vendors
  • Support new product launches

 

Background Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any major (Marketing and/or Business preferred)
  • 4+ years of CPG or Beverage Brand Management experience
  • Strong and consistent track record of driving business results
  • Knowledge of P&L
  • Project management experience
  • Track record of program execution
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and build team relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with executional excellence
  • Basic understanding of various pricing strategies across multiple markets and channels
  • Digital marketing competence
  • Strong communication skills with an emphasis on writing and editing
  • Ability to understand consumer insights (IRI, internal sales, demographics, consumer attitudes, usage)
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
