POSITION SUMMARY:
This internship offers an immersive, hands‑on introduction to the wine industry, perfect for someone who loves fast‑paced, task‑oriented work and wants to learn how world‑class wineries operate behind the scenes. You’ll gain experience across marketing, events, logistics, and office operations while working closely with teams who manage everything from wine auctions to harvest preparation. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:
  • Maintain and update marketing assets and materials
  • Coordinate wine shipments for events, partners, and program winners
  • Assemble and distribute swag bags and event materials
  • Prepare IMFs, BOLs, and documentation for wine movements
  • Build and ship event kits for internal and external events
  • Create and manage calendar holds for key events and programs
  • Develop itineraries and PDFs for auction VIPs
  • Manage wine consolidation and drop‑offs to event locations
  • Ensure clear, timely communication with internal teams and external partners
  • Assist the Hospitality team with event setup, execution, vendor coordination, and guest experience
  • Support major events such as WVWA Auction Week, OPC activities, and seasonal tastings
  • Deliver lunches, hospitality items, and guest swag bags during event weeks
  • Ship wine samples to bidders, partners, and event organizers
  • Assist with daily office tasks (restocking supplies, answering the door, checking mail)
  • Support seasonal onboarding and harvest preparation
  • Assist with technical tasting prep and all‑hands meeting setup
  • Help with end‑of‑fiscal‑year and beginning‑of‑year administrative tasks
  • Support harvest sample drop‑offs as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be available April-August
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds

WAGE TRANSPARENCY:

The base pay for this role ranges from $19.52- $27.80 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
