Our Campaigner product empowers our customers to drive sales and revenue using multi-channel marketing automation by creating personalized, 1:1 interactions through powerful email & SMS automation workflows that drive incremental revenue, engagement, and increased customer life time value.  With nearly 4 BILLION emails & SMS messages being sent from this SaaS product every month, you will have the opportunity to work on a high volume and highly scalable platform in the latest and greatest technologies.

The Campaigner team at the Moz Group is looking for a highly motivated .NET software engineer to help grow our business and brand by delivering high quality code and continuously improve our platform. You will have the chance to push your development skills to the limit, expand your abilities and work on multiple projects as part of one of the best development teams you’ll ever meet.

Our team is located in Ottawa, Ontario but we are open to having individuals work remote from anywhere within Canada.  

 

What You Will Do:

  • Participate in agile ceremonies.
  • Write, document, test, and deliver scalable functional software meeting architecture designs.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, collaborating with colleagues.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs quickly and efficiently.
  • Actively seek ways to improve existing software processes and interactions.
  • Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Aid and support the coaching and training of other team members.

Experience We Want To See:

  • Current hands-on experience developing with .NET Core, .NET Framework and C#.
  • Hands-on experience developing micro services, web services, windows services, and web applications using .Net.
  • Use of queuing systems (RabbitMQ or equivalent).
  • Experience with SQL server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
  • Experience developing SOAP/REST APIs.
  • Use of Front-End technologies such as JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML/CSS.
  • Source Control and CI tools (such as TFS, Git, Jenkins)

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC / .NET Core MVC.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, Dapper ORM, AutoMapper, or similar.
  • Experience with JavaEE (JBOSS, Wildfly) and Eclipse.
  • Use of Redis Cache Server.
  • Experience with micro service architecture in Docker, Kubernetes, and/or AWS.
