QA Analyst 

iContact is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to write and perform manual test cases and be a customer advocate for the iContact product. If you have experience testing highly scalable SaaS based applications and want to help small businesses and nonprofits grow, then this is the role for you.

We are an office optional company. This position can be fully remote from anywhere within the USA or Canada. We're also open to having folks be based out of our office in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area or Ottawa, Canada area.

What You Will Do: 

  • You will have significant influence over feature requirements and ensure that quality is “built in” from the ground up.
  • Write and perform manual test cases of new features and enhancements, along with manual regression testing as needed.
  • Participate in feature design to provide elegant and powerful features which can be easily used by non-technical customers.
  • Collaborate with the Product and UX Design teams to design and test product features following agile development methodologies.

Experience We Want To See: 

  • Experience creating and performing manual test cases of a SaaS based application within an agile environment.
  • Ability to think analytically along with an understanding of risk based testing and root cause analysis.
  • Experience performing tests within commonly used desktop and mobile web browsers, and able to use the browser’s development tools to troubleshoot the root cause of an issue.
  • Solid knowledge of current Quality Assurance methodologies, best practices, and tool sets, such as JIRA, TestRail, and Confluence.
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment and communicating well with others.
