Your Career

We’re looking for an A-Player marketing executive who can take our Americas Field Marketing organization through VIPRE /ZD’s next phase of growth. The leader of Americas Field Marketing will report to the VP of Sales and Service for North America. Americas Field Marketing is integral to the success of our sales team - Your well-managed campaigns will fill the top of the sales funnel with new leads! You’ll also nurture existing contacts to increase conversion rates and engagement scores, and you’ll leverage marketing automation to help our sales teams close qualified leads.

Your Impact

  • Develop a marketing plan to execute on direct, channel, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs to set us apart from our competitors.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing leadership, Product Marketing, and other functional leaders as we collaborate to drive growth in our industry and extend our install base.
  • Maintain a 90-day rolling calendar of integrated activities, including webinars, marketing campaigns, and other programs, along with a 12-month calendar of key events, dates, awareness initiatives, etc., that will inspire future marketing and sales messaging.
  • Reach your primary KPI of leads driven to the business through such Field marketing strategies as direct and channel marketing programs, email marketing, marketing campaigns, ads, whitepapers, and webinars
  • Manage America’s field marketing budget and program performance to ensure the achievement of business targets while staying within budget.
  • Analyze past performance by producing campaign recap summaries (conversion rates, webinar event registrants/attendees, email outcomes, and event campaign metrics). Also, determine the cost per lead, ROI on campaigns, and more to prioritize the highest-value strategies and optimize marketing campaigns against the budget.
  • Contribute to weekly and bi-weekly reports and monthly dashboards to demonstrate campaign progress and success.
  • Ensure an equitable mix of campaign/program strategies and creation to ensure each team and market segment receives sufficient leads to reach sales goals.
  • Work with in-house stakeholders to design and implement ongoing lead/opportunity capture/nurture systems to distribute leads to sales teams on time.
  • Partner with Training and Enablement to arm sales teams with tailored content for successful customer outreach and engagement.
  • Align with the product marketing team to ensure consistent branding, messaging, and differentiated offers based on buyer personas, industries, propensity to purchase, and more.
  • Manage and coordinate BDR/SDR responsibilities in driving lead flow fluency if appropriate.
  • Build an Americas growth marketing operation that is scalable but strictly focuses on key GTM strategies and business priorities. Note, we can strategically invest in developing emerging markets to align with market penetration/acceleration priorities.
  • Hire, build, and grow a team of A-player field marketers and vendors who can embrace change and blaze trails with modern marketing.
  • Serve as an internal expert on key trends and customer activity that impacts customer acquisition.
  • Manage outsourced vendors for various lead generation partnerships.

Your Experience

  • 10+ years of demonstrated success in leading marketing organizations, team management, events marketing, marketing automation (Pardot preferred), and vendor management.
  • Domain expertise in cybersecurity B2B and Channel marketing is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and reporting analytics (Google Analytics, Salesforce, Excel Pivot Tables) to analyze performance results and trends and make recommendations to optimize campaigns.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing cost-effective online marketing campaigns with clear ROI-focused metrics.
  • Experience leveraging email, video, webinars, e-books, whitepapers, blogs, social media, and press as strategic channels to promote campaign programs and events.
  • Excellent written skills; ability to write copy for promotional materials and other marketing collateral preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in business, marketing, or technology is preferred.
  • Proven track record of high integrity.
  • Proven experience of consistently delivering on expectations and getting the job done.
  • Ability to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way. Able to determine opportunities and threats through intimacy with the business and comprehensive analysis of current and future trends.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, schedule, and budget efficiently and productively, focusing on critical priorities.
  • Ability to hire A players as necessary, including in-house and vendor resources.
  • Ability to develop people: Coaches people in their current roles to improve performance and prepares them for future roles.
  • Ability to set goals and drive team performance and excellence: Gives clear direction and sets goals aligned to business priorities and outcomes. Is disciplined at measuring performance against KPIs. Rewards/recognizes people for excellence.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations for site inspections and events, as required.
